Welcome to Wax & Feathers! We are a small Bangkok based company dedicated to the crafts of high-end customized jewelry displays and packaging. Our work revolves around relatively small to mid-scale projects — a much more favorable alternative for modest jewelry businesses and start-ups. Every project we approach is in response to genuine needs expressed by our clients. Whether it may be creating a brand identity, refurbishing a store, or showcasing at a convention, we can confidently service the ever-growing demands for custom designs.

Knowledge & Experience

Our knack for problem solving stems from 30 years of service in the field of visual merchandising. We have more than improved our technical abilities to tackle applications of various degrees of complexity. Needless to say, quality is also reflected in how we operate. Perhaps its meaning has diminished from overuse, but it’s certainly not the case for us.

Staying Small

Adaptations/Modifications are frequent in this line of work. Therefore, remaining as a small company makes us compatible managing smaller scale projects. This also allows us to run our production calendar at a different speed. We have previously done orders as small as just a set of boxes (9 pcs.) as part of a wedding gift collection.

Project-Specific

Since not one project is the exact same, it is important that we treat each case by case. Having a small dedicated team allows us to be more efficient in operation and decision making. Our model is to keep it simple; the less the distractions, the better the results. 

Wax & Feathers was established only as recently as fall of 2016, but in actuality, we have been servicing the jewelry industry for quite some time. Under a former establishment*, we started out manufacturing injection molded plastic containers for the gemstones industry. An efficient solution for traveling jewelers was then discovered in the form of lightweight tray systems, which quickly gained many interests overseas. Gradually, more standardized variations of trays were made available, and to this day, remains our most popular product category.

During the early developmental stages, custom design was not part of the job description. A tray’s plastic core structure would remain fixed (a one-size fits all model), but we did manage to “modify” the cellular lines within its parameters. This paved way to the idea of customization, calling for the woodworking department’s improvisation to replicate and tweak designs using MDF. The method was a most welcomed inclusion as it brought forth a creative aspect that was missing in our arsenal. What was then a solely mass-production style operation is now a hybrid that embraces flexibility.
